Tricycle Wins Honorable Mention

"Tricycle" was accepted by The Delaplaine 2009 Juried Exhibit and won a Honorable Mention This painting is at first amusing but soon turns sad and a little scary. The juxtaposition of a child's toy within a darker circumstance calls attention to what may be over protectionism or a response to much more profound ecological and political realities.
